As a symbol that is easily idenitified with Jakarta, the Monas is used in numerous logos and emblems, including the province of Jakarta's Coat of Arms, schools, universities, popular events, and even the local football team.

Enjoy Jakarta The logo of the Jakarta City Tourism and Culture Office. It is seen in all of its maps, brochures and promotions.	SMAN 53 Many public high schools like the Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 53 have the Monas as part of its logo.
Universitas Bhayangkara Even universities like the Universitas Bhayangkara has the Monas in its logo.	Persija Jakarta Persija Jakarta, one of the most popular football teams in Indonesia, banners the Monas during their games.
Jakarta Marathon 2014 The Jakarta Marathon starts and ends at the Monas.	Jakarta Fair 2014 The Jakarta Fair is held annually around the Merdeka Square.
